Chama Optics is a photo post-processing app for mirrorless and DSLR camera users, inspired by the travel-loving VTuber Akai Haato (赤井はあと). It offers features such as EXIF info frames, automatic face mosaic, color grading, and cheki (Polaroid-style frames).

Key Features#
EXIF Info Frame#

Photos taken with a camera contain shooting information such as camera model, lens, shutter speed, aperture, and ISO. Chama Optics automatically reads this data and places it in various themed frames.
Camera manufacturer logos (Canon, Nikon, Sony, Lumix, etc.) are also automatically detected from the shooting data and included in the frame. For Lumix, the applied Photo Style name or LUT filename can also be displayed.
Auto Face Detection + Mosaic/Sticker#
‼️ For group photos or scenes with 20+ people, set “Settings” → “Face Detection” → “Detection Speed” → “Slowest”.

When other people’s faces are captured at events or tourist spots, faces are automatically detected and covered with mosaic or stickers.
- Cover faces using Mosaic, Stroke, Sticker, or Mosaic+Stroke modes
- Select individual detected faces to apply or remove effects
- Custom stickers added in Settings are also included in the Cheki tab’s dice roll
Color Grading (LUT)#

You can apply LUT (Look-Up Table) files, used in film and photography to apply specific color tones. Load a .cube file to give your photos a cinematic color grade.
Cheki (Polaroid-style Frame)#

Automatically generates Polaroid-style cheki frames. You can customize random character sticker placement, date/signature text, and border settings.
- Enabling cheki mode automatically adds a Polaroid-style bottom margin
- Use the dice roll to randomly place character stickers on the image
- Freely configure text/signature, font, color, and position (TL/TC/TR/BL/BC/BR)
iOS / Android / Desktop#

Available on the App Store. The same features as the desktop version can be used on iPhone.
Supports macOS, Linux, Windows, FreeBSD, iOS, Android, and Web (wasm32) to ensure no architecture discrimination.
